On March 4th, the Segals flew off to Fort Lauderdale from where we embarked upon a 21-day cruise of the Caribbean on the Eurodam, a ship of the Holland America Line.

Why; Because we haven't been there before. Oh yes, and we got a really good deal on a cabin with a view, just slightly above the Plimsoll line, with Vacations to Go.

We hope to keep our heads above water.

We departed Brisbane at 11:30 am on Monday 4 March and, after a 13 hour flight, arrived in San Francisco at 6:30 am the same day; 5 hours before we depart.  This kind of thing really does my head in. If we keep going in that direction for long enough, maybe I could wipe a few years off my age and change my name to the Time Traveller's Wife. 

Later the same day we arrived in Fort Lauderdale where we stayed for 2 nights in the hopes that our body clocks would catch up to us.
